My training partner, Katie, and I went on a 2 day epic run trip.
The first run was 42km around Cultus lake with an extra out and back up Vedder Mountain. It was 35 degrees so staying cool and hydrated was key. The Run Inn is my go to spot for both electrolytes and salt tabs, and we needed lots of both!
We were out there for 5 hours since the route had over 1700 meters of climbing and was pretty technical, so we went through a pack of Nuun tablets and 6 salt pills each.
Day two was Cathedral Park. 41km and 2600 meters of climbing!
It was absolutely stunning. We ran up through the trails and along the ridge of the park.
The pictures tell the best story :)
