On Friday September 27th the RunInn Delta hosted the Boundary Bay Cross Country meet at Centennial Beach park.
The meet featured 13 schools from across the Lower Mainland with a total of 12 races for grades 2 to grades 7 boys and girls.
"The meet was fantastic", says race Director Kevin Ridley, "It was a beautiful day and the kids really enjoyed themselves". We provide a fun race for each grade and then the kids all get a BBQ provided by the TOOBs of Delta. When we started the event nine years ago our goal was to have a fun cross country race that really encourages team participation.
"We are really lucky to have great Volunteers from Sacred Heart and the community to help put on this event for close to 1000 kids"
We could not have done it without the support of our Sponsors who paid for the Food, Insurance and medals for the top eight kids. We really want to thank the TOOBs, Service Master, Sungod Physio, Muscle Memory, and DNA data for all their help.
The meet is a fundraiser for Kidsport Delta with all funds raised going to the local Charity.
"I found nutrition almost a decade ago when the health issues I was struggling with resolved when I changed my diet and lifestyle. It’s since become my passion to help people use nutrition to feel their best, healthiest selves at any age. I don’t just want my clients to feel good, I want them to feel amazing and reach optimal health – endless energy, a healthy weight, balanced hormones, good sleep & lots of delicious tasting, REAL food! I believe that nutrition is completely individual and will work with you to find a nutrition plan that feels just right. I also believe that balance is key and encourage “real life” programs that allow you to enjoy all of the good things life has to offer."
