The Run Inn’s Saturday Morning Running Club is perfect for the runner who is looking for a recreational and social group to run with. The runs are low key and the routes vary from week to week. Twice a year half marathon training is incorporated into the Saturday morning runs for those runners who want to train for a Spring or Fall half marathon. Half marathon training is built into the January to May runs and the July to October runs.
Three pace groups are offered to accommodate the variety of runners that come out to the runs. Each group has a leader who sets the pace and leads the route.
The annual cost of the running club is $150. The club fee includes:
• Year round Saturday morning runs
• Twice a year half marathon training
• Tuesday morning recreational runs, Tuesday evening runs and/or the Thursday evening running clinic at no cost
• Annual club garment
Tuesday Morning Run Group
The Tuesday morning runs are for recreational runners who want o get out for a morning run in the company of other runners. Meet at the Run Inn Kerrisdale at 10:00am for a 40-50 minute scenic run through the Kerrisdale are.
Thursday Evening Clinic
The Thursday Evening Clinic offers 3 running options:
1)The Thursday Evening Track Workout. A traditional track workout designed to improve running speed and strength.
2)Learn to Run Program. A progressive walk-run program for the beginner runner. Runners will be able to run 5Km. at the end of the 12 week program.
3)Recreational Run Group. 40-50 minute recreational runs done through the Kerrisdale area.
